Service

One first consultation (60 minutes) on international tax, including U.S. tax, cross-border inheritance and U.S. business expansion. The consultation takes place online via Google Meet.

In the first consultation, we listen to your situation and explain the direction, the procedures needed afterwards and an estimated cost. No work such as preparing tax returns is done during the consultation.

Fees

• Residents of Japan: JPY 22,000 (including consumption tax)
• Residents outside Japan: JPY 20,000 (consumption tax not applicable)

The fee in force at the time of application applies. No fee change is currently scheduled.

Additional costs

• Bank transfer fees, if you pay by bank transfer
• Internet connection charges required for the online consultation

These costs are borne by you.

Payment methods

Credit card or bank transfer, through the payment page provided by Stripe.

Payment deadline

Please pay by the deadline shown in the payment instructions we email after your application: 23:59 Japan time, 7 days after the email is sent. If payment is not made by the deadline, your application becomes invalid.

Depending on your consultation topics, we may review your application before sending the payment instructions. If we cannot accept your application, we do not send payment instructions and no fee is charged.

When the service is provided

After payment, you choose a date and time from the dates and times shown on the booking page we send you. The service is provided at the date and time you choose.

Cancellation and withdrawal (cancellation policy)

There is no charge for cancelling before you pay (while your application is awaiting review or awaiting payment). Contact us and we will cancel your application. If you do not pay after we send the payment instructions, your application becomes invalid automatically after the payment deadline.

Once your payment is complete, we do not accept cancellations or give refunds for your own reasons. If you have special circumstances, please contact us at 06-6350-7100 or by email (support@cita110.com).

After you have booked a date and time, we accept schedule changes by phone (06-6350-7100).

If we are unable to hold the consultation for reasons on our side, we refund the full consultation fee (we also pay the bank transfer fee for the refund).

Japan's cooling-off system under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions does not apply to mail-order (online) sales.

Technical requirements

A current version of a browser that supports Google Meet (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari or Firefox), and a computer or smartphone with a camera and microphone.
